About the position

In this role, you will be responsible for driving maintenance and repair of infrastructure at the data center. You’ll also ensure 247 availability of mission-critical systems and monitor operational efficiency. The role includes participating in an emergency response rotation.
Furthermore, you will work to comply with industry standards and together with the team provide timely technical support to both internal and external parties. Overall, the focus is on delivering high-quality support while working towards energy and cost efficiency. The role will also work with purchasing and budgeting issues.


Main responsibilities

  • Maintain the data center’s power and building systems, PMS/​Power Management System, and BMS/​Buildings Management System
  • Install, monitor and maintain equipment within atNorth’s data centers
  • Work with solving customers’ problems, work with response management and support the customer’s IT solutions through smart hands” services
  • Ensuring that the work environment meets all industry standards for safety and cleanliness
  • Maintain and monitor data center infrastructure, monitoring systems, and subcontractor management
  • Support the administration of asset management, change management, and vendor management
  • Supporting internal colleagues in project management, IT, sales, and finance

You report to the Site Manager and start from the site in Kista. The role requires a physical presence on site. Response time is 2 hours.


Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has experience from a similar role in data centers or an industrial environment. You will have worked with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and with administrative work regarding the operation of a data center/​facility. It is an advantage if you have a relevant education in, for example, electricity or have experience of high voltage.

You express yourself well both in writing and orally in the Swedish language and have basic knowledge of the English language.
