The acquisition aligns with atNorth’s strategy to increase its presence and operations across the Nordic region. Chief Executive Officer Eyjólfur Magnús Kristinsson, says that the acquisition will help the company to accelerate growth across the Nordic region, with the timing being perfect as market demand for high-performance solutions is growing rapidly. “After having established data center operations in both Iceland and Sweden, we are now looking to expand even further.” Says Eyjólfur Magnús Kristinsson, CEO, atNorth. “We believe Partners Group is the perfect fit to start the next phase of our journey, given the firm’s extensive experience in digital infrastructure, operational expertise, and financial resources.” Demand for atNorth services leads to further expansion. atNorth is currently building a state-of-the-art data center in Stockholm, Sweden, scheduled to commence operation in February 2022 whereas next phases of the buildout have already been announced earlier than anticipated, due to high market demand.
